In February 1987, as the AIDS crisis gripped the world, GAS studio head Bill Houston created Captain Condom — a bold, witty response to the WHO's Global Program on AIDS and the UK Government's landmark "AIDS: Don't Die of Ignorance" campaign. This vintage comic art graphic tee is wearable history: a piece of underground illustration that tackled one of the most urgent public health moments of the 20th century with humour, heart, and a superhero cape.
