Glastonbury CND Festival Globe 1981 Sweatshirt
The CND FESTIVAL 1981 design is the first in the GLASTONBURY COLLECTION which covers the period from 1981 to 1985 when GREAT ALTERNATIVE STORES produced the official festival shirts for Michael Eavis.The original was screen printed and the colours in the design merged together. This reproduction will be sharper but more distinct. I had turned up as the last minute driver for T Rex in Mark Bolan’s zebra stripe flock covered Cadillac at the first one in 1970 and stayed to watch, wearing my blue satin shirt made for Jimmy Hendrix who had died the day before.
