Rock around the clock. In 1972, Malcolm McLaren commissioned Great Alternative Stores to produce the official graphic tees for the legendary 1972 Wembley Rock n Roll Show. Bill Haley was one of the headline acts — and this shirt was made to match the moment.
We had less than a week, no design brief, and a basement full of ambition. Using hand-cut stencils, we ran three 24-hour ghost shifts, curing shirts with hand irons before delivering them straight to the stadium. Rock around the clock.
This faithful reproduction captures the raw energy of that original hand-printed design. No Photoshop. No shortcuts. Just the real thing.
