Bill Haley 1972 Wembley Rock 'n' Roll Sweatshirt
Celebrate Mister Rock 'n' Roll with a retro Bill Haley sweatshirt inspired by the legendary 1972 Wembley Rock 'n' Roll Show. The bold vintage graphic brings the energy of early rock music into an easy-to-wear everyday layer.
This design comes from one of GAS T Shirts' first major orders. Malcolm McLaren asked us to create a set of designs for the show, and with less than a week and no formal design brief, we built the artwork from hand-cut stencil interpretations in the basement of the W9 shop. The original black sweatshirts were printed by hand, cured with hand irons, and rushed to Wembley after three 24-hour print shifts.
