Little Richard 1972 Wembley Rock 'n' Roll Sweatshirt

This sweatshirt is part of the original GAS T Shirts Wembley series. Malcolm McLaren commissioned the designs for the show, and with less than a week and no formal design brief, the artwork was developed from hand-cut stencil interpretations in the basement of the W9 shop. The first black garments were printed by hand, cured with hand irons, and delivered to Wembley after three 24-hour print shifts.
